Niswonger Children’s Network, Appalachian Highlands' only children’s hospital, provides care for more than 200,000 children. Supporting Children’s care here at home allows Niswonger Children’s Hospital to serve our region’s children through:

Patient Assistance: Compassionate Care outside our walls

• Patient assistance funds help patients who are experiencing financial distress in an already challenging time. Support of this program enables us to assist patients with gas vouchers, taxi fares, non-covered medications, nutritional expenses, housing bills, and more.

Hospice Program

• Our hospice patients and their families often have needs that aren’t covered by traditional medical insurance. Support of this program can help ease a family’s journey by assisting them with needs that arise during hospice care.
